Morena tamariki ma. I'm sure I heard some rain last night which made me think I might not get a walk today - luckily today was lovely and sunny so off we went! I adore getting outside for some fresh air and a good frolic. I like to have a sniff all over the park and see who has been there and to run around with any of my friends who happen to be there. Mrs Cox took some of my treats with us today because she said she knew I was missing Ms Wrack giving me treats. Because I was such a good dog and came whenever she called me I got quite a few! Yummy!
We went to our very favourite park - Churchill Park in Glendowie which isn't far from home. I love it there because there are lots of shady places to walk and many hills to run up and down and best of all some water to swim in!
I'd love to here all about what you are doing for exercise and fresh air at the moment. Do write and tell me!
- Alan 🐾
That was a good idea of yours to take Mrs Cox for an early morning walk- did you know that it's meant to maybe hail later? I see you had a swim too! I hope you remembered to shake away from humans- funnily enough they don't really like getting wet as much as dogs.
ReplyDeleteMr Logan took our dog, Ruby, for a walk at 6 am so she's set up for the day too. I had a wee bit of exercise playing Maori Simon Says with Room 9 this morning :)
Hi Mrs Logan - I do try to shake away from humans but sometimes I forget!Oops!Maori Simon Says sounds like a lot of fun - perhaps Room 9 can show me how to play it when I see them again! I wouldn't mind getting caught in the rain because my fluffy coat keeps me fairly dry but hail might be a bit much!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'd love to have you join in with them once we get back to school. We're all missing you- and Mrs Cox too of course! :)
ReplyDeleteWow Alan! You must be having fun playing outside, do you miss going to school?
ReplyDeleteIt must've been refreshing when you were swimming. :)
Yes Uheina I find swims extremely refreshing especially in this sticky weather.I try to go outside for a big walk every day but my favourite thing to do is go to see my friends at GTS because, yes, I really miss seeing you.Hopefully I'll see you soon.
DeleteWow Alan! Where did you go? It looked like you had lots of fun! Makes me feel like you love laying on the grass as much as you like laying on the Purple Polar Bear!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure we will see each other soon Maia. I am enjoying my walks - have you ever been to Churchill Park? It;s really beautiful.Did you know there are eels in the place I swim? It's a bit weird swimming through them but they don't seem to mind me being there!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the eels at Churchill Park. I was too scared to put my hand in. You must be brave.
DeleteHi Maia, I am extremely brave of course but I have to say the eels are fast becoming good friends of mine.
