Alan Misses his Friend

Hi everyone, went for a big walk this morning - it's one of my favourite things to do - and we walked up the hill near our house. Very exciting because my friend Hank (you've met him on my blog) lives in that direction!! Sadly Mrs Cox reminded me that we aren't allowed to go and see him yet .... I felt sad and disappointed but I stood by his gate and sent him kind thoughts. I guess I could have barked but I'm not really a barking kind of dog - have you ever heard me bark? I cheered up though at the thought that hopefully the time when I get to see him and my other friends is getting closer all the time....now it's time for a nap after my big walk!

  1. Come to think of it I've never heard Alan bark! He's too refined I think :)

  2. Hi Mrs Logan - I miss you. Did you know I was trained not to bark unless it was really necessary? It's part of socialising a guide dog puppy because if you are going to be a guide dog you can't bark at every dog you see or whenever something exciting happens - you need impeccable manners.
