Alan's Puzzle of the Day (August 19)

Morena tamariki ma, Alan has discovered a set of challenge cards to get you thinking! Unfortunately he lost the answers so he really needs your help to work them out! During our home learning he will post one challenge every day. He would love to hear your answers! Alan's challenge will be available from 9am each morning and he will blog later each day to let you know what he has been up to.

Keep safe and be kind.

  7. Morena Alan, your idea of daily challenges is brilliant! I am sure that many students and teachers will have a go and try to figure out your questions. As I love Maths and Art, my guess will be the different shapes and lines of the letters in these bubbles. We know that all letters are formed by combining shapes. In the first bubble I spy the letters that are formed by 'sticks' or straight lines and sharp angles. In the 2nd bubble I see the letters with curved lines. What time do you plan to reveal the correct answer? Have a wonderful day! Ms Elena

    1. I noticed the same thing with the straight letters in one bubble and the curvy letters in the other bubble!! I wonder if anyone else spotted this same pattern?

    1. Kia ora Rangi so excellent to hear from you! What you say is totally right and there is another difference too. The letters in one bubble have something about them that is all the same and the letters in the other bubble have something else about them that is all the same. Can you spot what it is?
